Tipoteh to Address Zion University Graduation

Dr. Togba Nah-Tipoteh, Chairman of the Vision 2030 Steering Committee, is expected to deliver the commencement address at the 2012 graduation exercise of the African Methodist Episcopal Zion University (AMEZU) on Tuesday, 17 April.

Dr. Tipoteh, 72, a Methodist, will address the graduates at the University’s Po-River Campus in Vincent Town, Bomi County. The Board of Trustees of the University is reported to have approved 456 prospective graduates out of the 533 students presented to it.

The Board is said to have reached the decision during its 23 March meeting after a careful scrutiny exercise to prevent any students who may not have completed the prescribed curriculum of the university from graduating.

In a document made available to this paper and signed by Reverend Emmanuel F. Johnson I, Secretary of the Board, the graduates are from seven (7) departments. They include Sociology-125, Accounting-120, Criminal Justice-115 and Public Administration-63.  Others are Econmics-22, Divinity-7 and Education-4 students.
