Unity Party Representative Candidate for electoral district#14, Montserrado County, Emmanuel K. Barnes says he is resolved to defeat incumbent Representative Abraham V. Coneh, and others vying for the district’s seat in October.
According to the UP candidate, Representative Coneh has massively failed residents of the district for twelve (12) years. Barnes argues that currently, the district is under represented at the Capitol.
He says the current lawmaker can’t boast of any tangible project he has undertaken across the district during his two six-year tenure in office.
He notes that the people of District#14 lack basic services such as good healthcare, educational facilities, safe-drinking water, capacity building for youth, and empowerment for market women, amongst others.
Barnes continues that his desire to enter the legislature is to relieve his people from poverty, adding that he comes with lots of tangibles that will help transform the district.
He says paramount on his agenda for residents are health, education, youth empowerment, security, reconciliation and sanitation, amongst others. Editing by Jonathan Browne
