Woman with triplets seeks help

A 22 years old woman has given birth to triplets, including two boys and a girl at the G.W. Harley Hospital in Sanniquellie, Nimba County.

The Medical Doctor of the hospital, John S. Doedeh, said due to the position of the babies, the mother could not give birth by herself except to go through an operation.

Doctor Doedeh, among others, disclosed that the first baby weights 2.4Kgs, while the second weights 1.7Kgs and the third, 2.2Kgs, respectively.

Meanwhile, the mother of the triplets, Janet Saye, has appealed to government, philanthropists and international charities for support to enable her adequately care for her babies.

The 22 years old mother is a farmer, while her husband is a motorcyclist. The couple resides in Dahnlorpa, outside of Sanniquellie.

The triplets bring to six; the number of children Madam Saye and her husband are blessed with.

According to her, she was age 15 when she started to have children.
