Focus on Accomplishments, Not Personality – Bishop Kulah

The Bishop- Emeritus of the United Methodist Church wants Liberians to focus on records of accomplishment of those seeking elected positions and forget the routine character assassination.

According to Bishop Arthur Flomo Kulah, character assassination has done nothing good for the country’s democracy and peace, but only divided the people and kept the country underdeveloped.

The 80 Year-old Prelate appealed to Liberians to take experience and maturity as some of the factors for election. He made the assertions last Saturday when he appeared as guest on a local radio program in Gbarnga, Bong County, “Let’s Talk”.

The tough-talking Preacher said electing an unprepared youth, who has had no high-profile position in government or private sector, might lead to abandonment of the larger portion of the electorates. Bishop Kulah noted that the government of a country is the same as its people, while admonishing Liberians to vote for those that are competent and just to society.
