Dagbayonoh Kiah Nyanfore, a Liberian writer and historian, has constructed an author’s website that discusses his writings and introduces his forthcoming book, Victory Over Difficulties. His friends and followers long suggested that he showcase his writings, particularly the book, on the site.
The book tells his life story, problems, challenges, and victories. It is an inspiring story, showing hardships and disappointments but determination and strategies for success. Though the book is autobiographical, it is also historical and cultural. The readers will learn about Liberia’s real history, traditional culture, and other accounts never published.
The website groups Dagbayonoh’s over 60 published articles into six categories: Liberian presidential elections, US presidential elections, international affairs, social issues, people, and others. The site also contains book excerpts, an African literature blog, and a newsletter. The blog discusses the history of African literature and states recent books by African writers. The newsletter features news from West Africa and current events.
