Criminals burglarize school building

Unknown persons believed to be criminals have broke into the Joseph Y. Diagor School in Ganta, Nimba County, making away with several items, including textbooks, lesson plans, cups and plates, among others.

The Principal of the school Deacon Morrison Dorley, narrated to The NewDawnthat the incident occurred during the weekend. According to Deacon Dorley, the criminals destroyed locks to the building, using raw acid.

He said no one has been arrested in connection with the theft, but investigating is going on. Meanwhile, police in Ganta have charged 13 suspected criminals and sent them to the Sanniquellie Central Prison, pending trial.

According to the police, the suspects were arrested in ghettos and other places, after posing serious problems for peaceful citizens.
