CU Prexy Rescues Road Project in Bong

The President of Cuttington University, Dr. Henrique Flomo Tokpa has made available two drums of fuel, food items and ten thousand Liberia dollars to the Teasley road project in Salala, Bong County.

The two drums of fuel, food items and ten thousand Liberian dollars were  his contributions to the Gelenkorma- Teasley Mission road project currently being initiated by the Bong County leadership. According to Dr. Tokpa, his intervention was the result an earlier appeal by the citizens to the Friends of Tokpa during a visit to the community.

For sometimes now, the road project has been at a standstill due to the lack of fuel to continue the project- something that prompted citizens’ appeal to capacitate the county’s two yellow machines to continue the project.

Receiving the items, two joyful citizens of the area thanked the experienced Liberian educator for his generosity to the citizens of Glelenkorma. The duo described the gesture as timely and promised to use the fuel to speed up the road construction- a project,  they said, would greatly aid commerce and trade in the area.
