Dumboy Valley identifies with Love a Child Orphanage

Over 100 destitute kids in an orphanage alone the RIA highway have received support from a local nongovernmental organization under the banner Dumboy Valley in Monrovia.

The inmates of the Love a Child Orphanage, on Saturday, 19 November received assorted food items from the Dumboy Valley. Speaking on behalf of the group, its president Mr. Bushuben M. Keita said the gesture is a dream of a group of Liberians, who have decided to raise money for the sole purpose of identifying with less fortunate persons or orphanages across the country.
“When we raise such money, our next plan is to find somebody or people to help with the money that was raised to do a work for charity including finding food, selling soft drinks, printing T-shirts just to be able to raise money to identify with the needy or a charity home, that has been our doing over the past years”, Mr. Keita said.

The DV president, who is also Deputy Transport Minister for Administration, added that this year they chose the Love a Child Orphanage in furtherance of their humanitarian mission, and lauded the efforts of the Director of the orphanage for the level of care being provided to the orphans there.

“This organization is such that wants to see the young people who are the future leaders of this country come up in the proper way, not to leave the burden on the shoulder of one person, because we all are aware of the challenges that kids at this level undergo, especially when they lost their biological parents, they need a good caretaker, and it is against this backdrop that our noble organization has thought it wise to reach this orphanage” he added.

Receiving the donation from Dumboy Valley, the directress and founder of the Love a Child Orphanage, Madam Rebecca Wreh expressed gratification to the local NGO for taking up time and resources to remember the home.

“The decision you took today to come and bless this orphanage home with your resources, it is my prayer that God restores it, wheresoever you took it from, because what you demonstrated here put smile on the faces of these innocent kids”, she expressed.

Earlier, the chair of the charity committee of the local NGO Mr. Nathaniel Trokon Pritchard said this was a of sharing with the kids the blessings God has bestowed on the group, adding that this has not been the first, and it will not be the last neither, “because the more we received blessing from God, the more this organization will continue it good work by reaching out to the less fortunate children or even the poor, sick, and those that have been abandoned by their families due to different reasons, this is where we prefer spending our hard earned resources across various communities in this county.”
