He said electrification project is to be funded by the Government of Liberia and the World Bank. “Just yesterday, I was in meeting with an India company and a Chinese Company that are supposed to bring electricity to Kakata in eighteen months. That’s an extension of the LEC facility that is in Monrovia”.
According to him, both groups were expected to in Kakata yesterday, October 1, and the county’s authorities have asked them to ensure that citizens of Margibi are employed, adding unless where they cannot find qualified and competent people in the county to work, then they will have to employ people from Monrovia.
He said Margibi authorities have emphasized that people from the county should have first preference in terms of employment.
