LFA Nat’l League Update

Liberian premiership clubs continue to put in their best to win the title and prevent relegation despite the reduction of the league status by the Liberia Football Association.

Former table leader, BYC suffered a 1-2 thrashing from Oilers at the ATS and also prevailed on Sunday by whipping Nimba FC 3-0 in Ganta. Watanga FC increased their chances on the league table after earning three points from USA in a 4-0 victory.

Struggling Jubilee FC earned their first win of the season from Devereux FC  1-0. First division table leader Green Pasture fell to Exodus 1-3 after 90 minutes of action on Sunday, while 72nd drew 1-1 with FC Fessell yesterday in Kakata.

Aries beat Gedeh Ambassadors 2-0 on Thursday at the ATS, while Vinton Pro and Blue Diamonds settled to a 2-2 draw at the ATS on Thursday.

LISCR FC also advanced on the league table after defeating Black Star at the Kakata stadium on Saturday. Mighty Barrolle, on Sunday at the D-Tweh pitch, also drew with Gedi & Sons yesterday.
