Lone Star Cell MTN subscribers smile

Lone Star cell MTN, Liberia’s premier GSM Company has held a double raffle draw – Mobile Money Promotion and the Gold Rush Promotion, awarding fabulous prizes and putting smile on faces of its many subscribers, and customers in Montserrado County and its environs.

The draws were held Sunday, 24 July at the company head office in Oldest Congo Town, outskirt of Monrovia. The company says the raffle is a way of identifying with its many subscribers, and customers as part of the 169th Independence Day celebrations of Liberia.

Lone Star Cell MTN says its cares about its many valuable customers across the country, and remains committed to helping to improve their lives, noting that the company is not only restricted to telecommunication, but also engages in other activities that will benefit customers and the public at large.

Addressing reporters at the start of the draw, Lone Star Cell MTN Segment Specialist Raymond Ben said the Gold Rush Promotion requires subscribers to send text to 7070 in order to qualify for participation in the raffle to win many valuable prices, saying the person who will earn the highest point will walk away with the grand prize – a Ford Figo vehicle valued US$ 12,500.
It was a joyful day for subscribers at the company’s head office in Congo Town when many of them won valuable prizes from the raffle draw.
Six winners emerged from the Gold Rush promotion; four won cash prize of US$300, whole one person won a 4KVA generator, and the grand winner, who earned high points, won the Ford Figo Car, which costs US$12,500. On the other hand, the Mobile Money promotion also gave out several prizes to lucky winners, including bag of rice, T-shirt, Smart Phone and pen, among other consolations for paying Dstv bills, buying LEC credits, and sending money to friends and relatives in the counties thru the Mobile Money services.
Awarding the car to the lucky winner, Lone Star Cell MTN Chief Marketing Officer Madam Barbara Ezeh Anozia says: “We care about our valuable customers; this is why we always think about looking for the best promotion that will benefit them whenever they participate.”

She narrated that Lone Star Cell is in the business of changing lives of Liberians, and urged customers and subscribers to keep trusting the company, adding “We are here to give them the best promotion that they deserve.”

Receiving the key for the vehicle, lucky winner Mr. Joseph Okoro thanked the company for its tireless efforts in undertaking such an initiative where subscribers can stand a chance to win something during holiday celebrations.

“Though I was very arrogant when I was called that I won this vehicle, and it is something that I must do; I’m very sorry for my remarks, from this day onward, I promise to listen to anybody that calls me, informing me that I have won, the reason I miss behaved is I have been fooled by unscrupulous guys before so I just wanted to be more careful that all”, he explained.

Meanwhile, the Acting Senior Manager for Mobile Money at the company, Massa Dennis says the promotion qualifies subscribers to enter the raffle draw and win prizes, explaining that when subscribers register their sim cards with Mobile Money and start to buy LEC chip, pay Dstv bills, and send money to other counties, the customer that earns the highest transaction will receive a 32-inch flash screen TV, bag of rice, smart phone, T-shirt pen, and one year free subscription.

According to the Acting Senior Manager Madam Dennis, a total of 53 candidates qualified for the raffle draw, but only four are going to be the lucky winners.
