Medical practitioner eyes representative post

Ahead of the 2017 elections a Liberian professional pharmacist in Montserrado County electoral district #4 in Paynesville City, Alex G. Korkolea, has declared his intention to contest for the district’s seat.

Mr. Korkolea a.k.a. “Potent”, holds a Bachelor’s Degree from the School of Pharmacy at the A.M. Diglottic College of the University of Liberia. A former president of the Yana Boys Association, he made the declaration recently at the official launch of a major community clean-up exercise, aimed at alleviating the sanitation problem of the people of the Goba Chop Community.

The aspirant disclosed that for many years now the community has been abandoned by its political representative, thereby undermining the growth and progress of the area.

He added that because of his countless contributions to the people of Goba Chop community, residents of the area have decided to petition him this Saturday in appreciation of his sacrificial services.

He called on residents of district #4 to reject incumbent Representative Henry Fahnbulleh, who according to him, has no interest in the wellbeing of the ordinary people, further promising that when elected, he would bring development badly needed by the war-affected population of the area, including safe drinking, electricity, rehabilitation of community roads, as well as creation of dump-sites, among others.
