MOE/ WAEC Releases Result

Authorities at the Ministry of Education in collaboration with the West African Examination Council or WEAC have  announced that they will release the 2010/2011 senior High School Students exams results today.

Deputy Education Minister for Instruction, Dr. Mator M.F Kpanbai the move is in keeping with the promise made by the Ministry that WAEC will be releasing its results in the scope of one month period.

Dr. Kpanbai said it was necessary that the general populace and stakeholders  uphold the pride and dignity of quality education  and should report all illegal practices such as graduation, diploma, gowns and hall rental fees and all others fees in the name of graduation for public schools something he said  has been degrading the education system.

Violator will be penalized and prosecuted according to laws governing the Ministry of Education.

In another development, Dr. Kpangbai, has been invited to serve as keynote speaker at the educational forum at the University of Pennsylvania in the U.S.A at the final of the 36th annual ODUNDE Festival which takes place June 12.  ODUNDE is the largest African Cultural festival which has grown from a neighborhood to major international festival that attracts over 300,000 people from around the world.
