Police charge 3 suspected armed robbers

Police in Ganta, Nimba County have charged and sent to court three suspected armed robbers. The suspects had allegedly gone to arm rob citizens of Zuluyee and Cooper Village along the Ganta-Sanniquellie highway in Nimba when they were arrested.

Those arrested and charged with armed robbery, theft of property, Illegal possession of fire arms, burglary and criminal facilitation include 32-year-old Nigerian, Titus Ezeh; 27-year-old Patrick Wilson, a Liberian, and another Nigerian, OgbajiMonso, 28.

The NewDawnNimba correspondent said police had earlier arrested and charged suspect Patrick Wilson with armed robbery and detained him at the Sanniquellie Central Prison, but he was seen in the street, involved in another crime for the second time in less than a year.

The three suspects had reportedly been engaged in business activities in Ganta, prior to their arrest. – By Franklin Doloquee, Nimba
