Preseason Results Strengthen Jubilee

Liberia’s premiership outfit Jubilee FC completed its first set of pre-season matches last week ahead of the official kickoff date of the new Liberia FA season. The club has been using the test matches to first-rate potential legs from the numerous players turning up for the club’s open justification over the last three weeks.

Jubilee FC started its pre-season fixture with an early morning 1-1 clash with Invisible Eleven last Monday at the Fish-Market training sports ground in Sinkor. Premiership runners-up Barrack Young Controllers welcomed the Old-Road-based premiership side at the mini-stadium in PHP, whipping Jubilee FC 4-0 Wednesday morning.

The club on  Thursday September 15  scored its first pre-season victory over first division outfit Zelor FC at the fish-market sports ground and drew 5-5 with Monrovia FC at the ELWA sports pitch on Friday.

Emmanuel Doe Dumps BYC

BYC’s attacking forward was unable to land a single goal against 2nd division runners-up, FC Fassell last Friday during a pre-season friendly ahead of the commencement of the league season. Emmanuel Doe, alias Petit, was on the score sheet for the emerging side as they thrashed their seniors one–zero after full time at the Baptist Seminar pitch.

The premiership boys were unable to hold back the newly promoted first division outfit that recently broke the local football transfer market record by signing on Nuzohn Kulala, formerly of Mighty Barrolle for Five Thousand United States Dollars.

The Camp Johnson road-based premiership side had a fine time on Wednesday when it thrashed Jubilee FC 4-0, but their scoring department was stopped by Bill Graford formerly of relegated premiership outfit Tony FC as they were testing his position for FC Fassell. The club is expected to run a few more matches before the kickoff of the  league season.
