The 34-year-old Nigerian, originating from Enugu State, told a Joint Security investigation at the border that he resides on the Old Road in Monrovia as a businessman and is a mechanic by profession.

Mr. Nnameni said the counterfeit dollars was sent to him from Nigeria by a friend he identified only as Amadi, based in Lagos, and he want to collect same from Sierra Leone.
“Mr. Nnameni intentionally unlawfully went to receive the said amount in Freetown, Sierra Leone, with the intention to bring it into Liberia to have it changed on the Liberian market,” according to a joint security report.
