The Executive Committee of the Movement for Progressive Change (MPC) announces the dismissal of its Youth Chair, James Freeman, for endorsing President George Weah in the 14th November Presidential Runoff Election.
In a communication to Mr. Freeman, dated November 15, 2023, MPC National Chairman O’niel Passewe, says the Youth Chair took the decision without the consent of the National Elective Committee.
“Such actions without the consent of the Executive Committee of the Movement for Progressive Change is tantamount to inappropriate Representative of the Movement for Progressive Change”, Chairman Passewe writes.
He says the dismissal of Mr. Freeman is consistent with Article XII, Section III-A of the organic statute of the MPC.
“Thanks for the services you rendered. Kindly return all properties in your possession”, the letter, signed by Chairman Passewe, reads. Editing by Jonathan Browne
