Police indicted in Nimba

Magistrates assigned in Nimba County have accused the Liberia National Police in the county for not reporting accident cases for several years.  The aggrieved magistrates said none of them could speak of any accident case from the police on their respective dockets.

They accused the LNP of receiving bribes from drivers involved in accident and instead of sending them to court, the cases are compromised. According to the magistrates, their accusation is based on the continuous action of the police.
They made the statement on Monday November 9, 2015 during the opening of the circuit in Sanniquellie, Nimba County.
