The Management of the Liberia Airport Authority is currently involved in the construction of a brand new 5070m2 terminal building including supporting facilities such as power substation, pump station and sewage treatment station at the Roberts International Airport (RIA) in Margibi County.
The construction is rapidly transforming the nation’s only international airport to modern standards, bringing it on par with airports in the subregion, on the continent and outside Africa.
The project overall team comprises the Liberia Airport Authority (LAA), Ministry of Public Works (MPW), Ministry of Finance & Development Planning (MFDP), Project Management – Project Implementation Unit (PIU), Site Supervision – WSP Africa Group (WSP) and China Habour Engineering Company Ltd.
