Bong chiefs’ salaries disappear

Bong County electoral district #3 Rep. Mr. George Mulbah is making claims here that he strongly believes that the salaries of some chiefs are being collected by unidentified individuals and directed to their personal accounts.

The NewDawn’s Bong County correspondent says Rep. Mulbah has threatened to invite the General Auditing Commission or GAC to audit Bong County payroll in an effort to dig into claims of chiefs’ salaries disappearance.

Rep. Mulbah has suggested the need for the GAC to be invited to identify the alleged unknown individuals that are claimed to be signing for chief’s salaries.

According to him, the mysterious disappearance of chief’s salaries was something he never expected to happen, stressing that he needs to take the matter seriously.

He concluded that those engaged in the alleged acts were people who wanted to tarnish his hard earned reputation, though he remains confident that their plans will fail.
