CU and Bong Technical College to get Free Internet Service soon

Vice President Jewel Howard – Taylor says arrangements have been concluded with Orange-Liberia to begin providing a free internet service on the campus of Cuttington University (CU) and the Bong Technical College in Gbarnga, Bong County.

Speaking recently in an exclusive interview in the county, Madam Taylor said the initiative is in fulfillment of an earlier promise she made to the administrations of the two institutions of higher learning in the County.

Her new commitment comes after making donations of fuel and cash recently to the administration and students at CU in Suakoko as part of efforts to make intervention in the financial constraints facing the institution.

Madam Taylor says when the internet service is fully installed, it will be provided to the two campuses on a free of charge basis for one year.
Vice President Taylor is therefore lauding Orange Liberia for the partnership, adding that the internet service is currently being installed to ensure that the students and Staff have access to the service shortly in the County.

The Liberian first female Vice President emphasized that the free internet service will ensure that the faculty and students of the two institutions use information resources available on the internet.
