No more war

-hardship & deception

The senior Pastor of the Remedy Movement International, Pastor Philemon A. Tarpeh told members of his congregation here on Monday June 3, that there will be no more war, no more hardship and no more deception in Liberia.

Pastor Tarpeh who is affectionately called ‘The Pioneer’ by his followers said there is no need to panic and that the Lord is in control of the country.

His statement comes days ahead of the planned June 7, protest by members of the Council of Patriots or COP, a group that is now demanding several reforms within the George Weah government.

The pastor said the era within which Liberia finds itself is a defining moment for the country, adding for too long politicians have deceived citizens here and the Lord is ready to redeem the country.

Speaking to this paper after his service on Monday night, Pastor Tarpeh declined further explanation but rather referred this writer to Psalm 115:11-13 saying the Lord will help this nation and that there will be no more war, hardships and deception from elected officials.

Psalm 115:11-13 reads:“Ye that fear the LORD, trust in the LORD: he is their help and their shield.12 The LORD hath been mindful of us: he will bless us; he will bless the house of Israel; he will bless the house of Aaron.13 He will bless them that fear the LORD, both small and great.”
