PUL signs book of condolence for Blamo Robinson today

The Press Union of Liberia (PUL) will today sign the book of condolence for fallen journalist E. Blamo Robinson.

The Union urges all of its members, journalists, media workers and the public to turnout for the signing of the book of condolence in honor of the fallen journalist at 10: 30am.

The PUL expresses regrets over the death of revered journalist Blamo Robinson.

He died on 11 February 2019 after a period of illness. He was 61 years old.

Blamo Robinson rose to prominence at the Liberia Broadcasting System where he served as Assistant Director General for News & Public Affairs as well as radio.

He produced and presented the once famous radio magazine, the “INFORMIX”.

Younger professionals who followed his lead in journalism affectionately called him the “INFORMIX PAPAY”.

Robinson worked with Mercy Corps and diligently provided leadership in the establishment of community radio stations across the country.

He lectured journalism at the African Methodist Episcopal University and the Peter Quaqua School of Journalism in Liberia. He last worked for the Liberia Telecommunications Authority (LTA).–Press release
