A middle-aged man identified as Lassana Kenneth, allegedly stabs his 24 years old spouse, Princess Boe, to death in a horrible manner at their Peace Island Community in Jacob Town, Paynesville City outside Monrovia.

The victim’s housemates and other closed neighbors appear to be mute on what may have sparked the incident. But the late Princess’ uncle, Mr. James Sokoyah narrates to this paper that the victim was discovered dead in a pool of blood after suspect Kenneth allegedly stabbed her at about 10pm on Saturday, 7 April.

Mr. Sokoyah explains to the NewDawn at the incident scene that he was not at the house when the incident occurred, but he met the late Princess in her fiancé’s bedroom, lying in a pool of blood.

The deceased, who hailed from Nimba County, was said to be a petty trader in the community, selling banana prior to her death.

Information also gathered by this paper reveals that a day after the reported incident, the wife of suspect Kenneth arrived from Guinea and met the news of her husband allegedly murdering his fiancee in the community.

The late Princess’s uncle Mr. Sokoyah says, when he entered the victim’s room and saw her lying in blood, he immediately alarmed before some neighbors in the community rushed there to rescue her. But he says the neighbors saw the deceased lying dead in her bedroom.

He adds that after suspect Kenneth allegedly stabbed Princess in her chest and shoulder, he subsequently used the same object on himself, cutting piece of flesh from his private part to blame it on the deceased to insinuate that there was a fight.

According to Mr. Sokoyah, suspect Kenneth also bled profusely from the self-inflicted injury on his private part, and was rushed to the state – run John F. Kennedy Medical Center in Sinkor by the Liberia National Police (LNP) after being called in by the family.

He says to ensure that justice prevails in the alleged murder of Princess, the LNP has reportedly handcuffed suspect Kenneth in his hospital bed at the trauma ward of the JFK hospital, pending his recovery to face prosecution.

The deceased’s uncle could not say what may have sparked confusion between the two lovers, resulting to the murder of his niece in cold blood.

Mr. Sokoyah says none of the tenants in the house where the murder transpired could tell him what may have caused conflict between the deceased and her spouse suspect Kenneth.

Meanwhile, the deceased’s body has been deposited at the Abraham Roberts Funeral Home opposite the Stephen A. Tolbert Estate, near Double Bridge Community, pending investigation, and subsequent funeral and burial arrangements by the family.

Mr. Sokoyah calls on the Ministry of Justice and human rights organizations in the country to ensure that the suspect is prosecuted in keeping with the laws of the country.
