Foreign Affairs suspends all working activities

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs says all working activities at the Ministry including the Bureau of Passport and Visas will be suspended from Thursday, April 18, 2019 to Tuesday, April 23, 2019 due to a fumigation exercise.

Fumigation is the action or process of disinfecting or purifying an area with the fumes of certain chemicals to suffocate or poison pests.

According to a Foreign Ministry release, normal working activities at the Ministry will resume on Wednesday, April 24, 2019.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs says it apologizes for any inconveniences this may cause the public.

This press release comes after report of snakes being discovered at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs which also hosts the Liberian Presidency temporarily.–Press release
