Liberty Party Youth Wing suspends 3

The National Executive Committee of the Gallant National Youth Wing of the opposition Liberty Party announces the indefinite suspension of three  (3) of its members with immediate effect.

Those suspended include Abel T. Tarpeh, Vice Chairman for Administration; Chernoh M. Jalloh, Vice Chairman for Political Affairs, and Ephraim T. Nyumah, Deputy Secretary for Administration, respectively.

According to a press release, the Youth Wing reached the decision in an emergency meeting Tuesday, 19 December, explaining that the suspension comes as a result of the suspended officials’ alleged condescending behavior exhibited against senior members of the Executive Committee of the Youth Wing.

The release signed by the Secretary General of the Youth Wing Emmanuel K. Barnes, advises the public not to do business with those mentioned supra, as doing is at a risk It also notes that the affected officials are strongly warned to stay clear of all Youth Wing activities and to not proceed any further under the banner of those positions that they have been suspended from, and that any defiance on their part will receive unspecified consequences that will deeply jeopardize their return to the leadership.
