Amb. Sulunteh predicts ANC victory

Liberia’s former Ambassador to the United States, Mr. Jeremiah Sulunteh says he believes victory is assure case for opposition Alternative National Congress or ANC, telling citizens in his home county of Bong via community radio that the ANC has the best platform for the country.

Few weeks after joining the party, Amb. Sulunteh has begun outlining some aspects of ANC to include development, job opportunities, and proper management of the country’s resources.

He told a local radio station on Saturday, 25 March that the ANC will accelerate the development of the country if the party wins the coming October presidential and representatives elections.

He says while it is true that the current government in which he worked as ambassador has done its best, the ANC was ready to do more and transform the country through its development agenda.

The Liberian envoy who returned home to pursue political interest, has said he has followed the track records of the ANC over the years and observed that it holds the pillows of national development.

Touching on conditions of Liberians, Amb. Sulunteh attributed the underdevelopment of the country to the reliance of citizens on politicians. He argued that a lot of citizens believe it is only Liberian politicians who have the responsibility of developing the country. He recalled that during his tour in some counties to educate citizens about the importance of registering for the elections, there were people who said they would not vote because some of their leaders failed them. The eminent Bong County son maintained that Bong County remains his heartbeat.
