Bishop Leo Simpson rallies support for Weah

The Diocesan Bishop of the West African Council of the 35 Episcopal District of the Pentecostal Assemblies of the World Inc. Dr. Leo M. Simpson rallies Liberians here to support the government of President George Manneh Weah in furtherance of peace and economic development.

He says it is time that every Liberian thinks positively about Liberia and joins hands with the government in bringing development to the country.

Bishop Simpson gave the urge Tuesday at the start of the 91st National Convention of the West African Council of the 35 Episcopal District of the Pentecostal Assemblies of the World Inc. held in JJY Community, Gardnerville under the theme, “The World was made Flesh and Dwelt Among Us” with text from St. John 1:1-3,14.

He says Liberians should embrace one another and promote peace as a vehicle for economic development, adding success of President Weah will yield massive dividends in the lives of every Liberian, particularly if they rally around the ruling Coalition for Democratic Change (CDC) in promoting the government.

“Let us maintain the peace and support our government because with peace, there will be development”, the veteran preacher and educator urges.
