The National overseer of the Apostolic Faith Church located around the old zoo in Gaye Town, on the old Road Rev. James S. Miller says citizens in the country are the architect of the many problems that have engulfed the country here.
“We (Liberians) are the architect of the many problems we are facing here in Liberia today, and that is because we turned away from God”
Rev. Miller made thiscomment Sunday February 9, 2020, following a divine worship service at his church to commemorate the celebration of their Camp Meeting in an interview with reporters.
He said the Camp Meeting is an annual event of celebration where members of the Apostolic Church across Africa converge to offer prayers, and thanksgiving to God for sparing their lives, and to bless the nation and its people.
According to Rev. Miller, the annual event also brings together delegates from across the fifteen counties, and across Africa particularly Nigeria where the church headquarters is located.
He noted that God has been a blessing to the even since the celebration was inaugurated.
“I want to encourage my congregation to on its knee and ask God.” He said it takes one man to bring change.
It’s our prayer that at the end of this year’s camp meeting, God himself will listen to our prayers, in helping to resuscitate our struggling economy.

For his part, the visiting Nigerian overseer, who is also the Assistant Regional overseer of the West, and Central Region of the Apostolic Faith Church Rev. KayodeAjiboye says the message for this year celebration is “There is power in the gospels of Jesus Christ to do exploit.”
Delivering the celebration message under the theme, the Gospel of Power, and Exploits from text Isiah 61; 1 he says individuals can experience the great wonders of God irrespective of fear of live, adding that anyone who is expecting God divine intervention in any matter must exercise faith.
He noted that the importance of the gathering by the children of God is to fellowship together, and encourage one another to strengthen their faith.
Our expectation following this celebration is for people to pray to God, and get connected with the power of God that can transform them from the realm of impossibility, and get to the realm of God where there is nothing impossible so that matters of their lives can be submitted to God for his divine intervention. “Our expectation is for people to submit themselves to God, by removing anything that will stop their connection with God’.
